Human Waste Removal System (HWRS)
Set-up requirements:
 Toilet (HWRS) needs to be Out of the boat
 Easily accessible for everyone in group
 Away from central camp area
PORTABLE TOILET GUIDE
Human Waste Removal Systems (HWRS) / “Portable Toilets” are required
to be set-up within 30 minutes of arrival at camp, except at the sites listed
below, where government-provided pit toilets are located.
When a current pit toilet is full, the pit will be filled and the structure
dismantled, restoring the resource to its natural character.
