ViewHighSchoolwillbeparticipatinginamandatoryfieldtripscheduledforMarch18th,2016togaincollege
andcareerexposure;and,(2)toinviteyoutochaperonethetripifatallavailabletojoinourstudents.
College&CareerFieldTripInformation
AsanEarlyCollegeSTEMSchool,wetakeprideinprovidingourstudentswithopportunitiesforsummer
internships,collegecoursesinhighschool,andbuildingrelationshipswithprofessionalsthroughoutthe
Chicagolandarea.Onestepalongthisjourneyisgainingprofessionalandcollegiateexperiencesoutsideof
LakeViewHighSchool.
Withthesupportofourcorporatepartner,Microsoft,LakeViewHighSchool9thGradeStudentswillcomplete
three(3)fieldtripsthroughoutthecurrentSY2015-2016.Thefieldtripdestinationsincludebutarenotlimited
tothefollowingopportunitiestovisit:UILabs,NorthwesternUniversity,Microsoft,WrightCollegeandDePaul
University.TheFirstfieldtripwasheldonJanuary15th,andstudentsreturnedwithgenuineexcitement.The
followingchartdetailsthevariouslocationsandtriptimesforourupcomingMarch18thfieldtrip.Notethat
studentdestinationshavebeendeterminedbasedonthestudents’“Division”numberlisted.
Allstudentsshouldanticipateattendingschoolasaregularlyscheduleddayfrom8:15am-3:27pm.
