that live on the Table Rocks. If
you’re lucky, you might see one of
these beautiful snakes.
Did You Know?
The Western Rattlesnake is the only
poisonous snake in western Oregon.
If you encounter a rattlesnake, remain calm, keep a safe
distance, have a good look if you can (they are quite
beautiful), and ease your way around it. They will
usually try to get out of your way, so be careful not to
corner them. Rattlesnakes are rarely aggressive. They
play an important role in keeping our world healthy.
Never harm or harass a rattlesnake!
