Restoring a file from a previous version on the P & S drive
If you lose data, or accidentally save over the top of a document which you later
need, you can retrieve your data by using the previous versions tool available in
Windows explorer.
1. Open windows explorer and find your file

on your file

2. Right click on the file and select Properties
Select Properties
3. From the resulting menu select Previous Versions
Select Previous
Versions
4. When you select the file you will have 3 options. These are:
•
Open – if you choose this option your file will open as it was on the date
specified
•
Copy - if you choose this option you can make a copy of the file and will be
prompted to save it to a location of your choice
•
Restore – if you choose this option your file will be restored and will replace
the current version of the file which you have saved. If you choose to Restore
you will see this window:
