Google Plugin Google's decision to disable NPAPI plugins by default in Chrome 42 will affect users accessing Blackboard Learn, as certain features and additions to Blackboard Learn are dependent on NPAPI protocol support either directly or through the Java plugin, which also relies on NPAPI protocol support. The plugin will need to be manually enabled at this time. 1. Click on the Google Chrome icon to launch the browser. 2. In the address bar type in chrome://flags and click enter 3. Scroll down to “Enable NPAPI” and select Enable 4. Click on Relaunch Now 5. Verify the java plugin is running by going to www.java.com and selecting “Do I have Java”
