Course Scheduling & Faculty Contracts c Scheduling eTROY courses are scheduled through a coordinated effort with the Dean, Department Chairs, and the eTROY Scheduling Manager. Adjunct instructors are certified to teach within their respective discipline area, but no guarantees are made that an instructor will be scheduled to teach a course(s) in a specific term or in every term. Full time faculty may teach courses online that count as their full load, part of their load, or an overload. Any questions regarding scheduling should be directed to the appropriate department chair. Adjunct Faculty & Full-time Faculty Overload Contract Adjunct instructors and full-time faculty teaching an overload online will be emailed a faculty contract each term in which they are scheduled to teach. The contracts are emailed to faculty after the beginning of the second week of the term. Faculty will electronically sign their contract through the electronic document processing system, EchoSign. (AOP 1-19-10-01 Adjunct Faculty-Full-time Overload Contract) Adjunct faculty and full-time faculty overload contracts are calculated using a per student rate. RATES: Graduate Courses $200 per student (cap of 25 students unless approved by dean) Undergraduate Courses 3 SEM HR COURSE - $125 per student (cap of 40 students unless approved by dean) 2 SEM HR COURSE - $100 per student (cap of 60 students unless approved by dean) 1 SEM HR COURSE - $50 per student (cap of 60 students unless approved by dean) For more detailed information regarding pay scale please refer to the AOP 8-8-07-01Adjunct Faculty & Full-Time Faculty Overload Pay Scale. Faculty contracts are generated by the department secretaries within each college. Any questions regarding faculty contracts should be directed to the appropriate department.
