Millpond Nestled along the clear waters of Rock Creek, Millpond’s lush forest gives way to spacious grassy areas, great for day-use and running the kids and dogs. A children's play area, a large ball-field, interpretive panels, swimming areas, and a large reservable pavilion are all available at Millpond. There is a short nature trail on the west end of the campground and the mile-long Sawmill Trail to the east. Rock Creek is closed by Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to all angling. FACILTIES Campground- Twelve campsites, drinking water, vault restrooms, hiking. Day Use Area- Ball field, horseshoe pits, grills, flush restroom, hot water sinks, large pavilion with picnic tables, electricity, and a stone fireplace. Sawmill Trailhead located here. ACCESS for All restrooms, spigots, pathways, hiking trails, the pavilion, and parking areas are accessible. In the PEOPLE campground, all sites but #1 are accessible. WITH DISABILITIES FEES Campground is $14/night; $5/additional vehicle/night. First-come, first-serve. No reservations. Day-use area is free of charge. Check-in: 1:00 pm Check-out: 11:00 am PETS Pets in campgrounds must be physically restrained by owner on a six foot or shorter leash. No dogs in water. FIREWOOD $6 / bundle; located adjacent to pay station along entrance road. SEASON Opens - May 13 Closes - September 26 LOCATION Travel 22 miles east of Roseburg on Highway 138. Six miles east of Glide, turn north on Rock Creek Road (County Road 78). Travel five miles to the campground. Elevation: 1170 feet. PAVILION $130 plus $250 refundable security deposit. A reservation is required for groups over 25 people. Reservations for pavilion use must be made through www.recreation.gov or by calling Reserve America (877) 444-6777. Max Group Size: 200 people.
