Lone Pine Lone Pine is one of two reservable group campgrounds in the district. The 11 sites will accommodate up to 120 people. The campground is located five miles up Rock Creek, across from Millpond Campground. Lone Pine was built in proximity to the historic Douglas County/Millpond Saw Mill which operated in the ‘40s. FACILTIES 11 campsites, pavilion (pictured above), horseshoe pits, drinking water, vault restrooms, volleyball area, group picnic/fire ring area. Across the road, the Millpond Day Use Area has a reservable pavilion, horseshoe pits, ball field, and flush restrooms. Max group size: 120 people ACCESS for All restrooms, spigots, the Sawmill Trail, and all campsites are accessible. PEOPLE WITH DISFEES $145 / night. $200 refundable (if conditions are met) deposit. Reservations through www.recreation.gov or Reserve America (877) 444 - 6777. PETS Pets in campgrounds must be physically restrained by owner on a six foot or shorter leash.
