The BLM Spokane District Office has prepared this document to serve as an information link
between you and this agency. Our intention is to increase your awareness of BLM activities
and improve opportunities for open discussion. By keeping you informed of the District’s

Spokane District BLM Planning Update
BLM is publishing this Planning Update to provide current information about specific projects and future events planned for lands and resources
managed by the district, to interested parties.
The Update is contained within the table below, where projects are organized by county. Each project entry contains the project name, a brief
description, the location, and project status; and identifies related documents.
Entries in the Project Status column are color coded to correspond with the following categories:
1) Planning in Progress (Preliminary planning/scoping): Project planning is in its initial stages. BLM staff is reviewing a proposed
project to determine how best to approach planning. When warranted there will be a public scoping period and BLM will seek
public input to help identify issues or alternatives.
2) Planning in Progress (Conducting analysis): BLM is analyzing the environmental effects of these projects.
3) Planning Completed (Decision Pending). BLM has completed analysis of effects and a decision is pending. When warranted,
BLM will seek public review and comments on analysis documents before making a decision.
4) Planning Completed (Decision signed): The appeal period for the decision will be identified.
5) Project under Implementation: Project is currently being implemented.
6) Project Implementation Complete: All phases of the project have been completed.
If there is currently any type of public review or comment period related to a project, this is also indicated in the Project Status column.
