PROPOSAL NAME & LOCATION CSURF “Parcel B” Interim Parking Lot and Contractor Laydown Area. Please see map location on the back of this letter. PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION The parcel is owned by the Colorado State University Research Foundation (CSURF), and is approximately 17 acres. The proposed plan includes an approximate 5 acre “contractor laydown” area to be used for the temporary storage of construction materials related to nearby CSU construction projects. The proposal also includes a recycled asphalt parking lot with approximately 205 parking spaces to be used on an interim basis (three years) to temporarily replace CSU parking removed from areas on campus. The proposal may include several modification requests to the City Land Use Code in conjunction with the temporary parking lot including parking lot interior and perimeter landscape requirements. This project is subject to review and approval by a City of Fort Collins Hearing Officer and is located in the Employment zone district.
