Prescribed Fire near Orient, Washington
Spokane, WA. - Between November 14 and November 16, 2011 , the Bureau of Land Management
(BLM) Spokane District Office will conduct prescribed fires in Stevens County, Washington. The BLM
will bum slash piles on approximately 161 acres of public land located approximately five miles northeast
of Orient, WA. The overall goal is to reduce fire hazard and intensity. The legal description of the bum
area is Township 40 North, Range 36 East, Section 35.
