Public Land Resource Advisory Council Meeting on July 16, 2008
Spokane - The Eastern Washington Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will hold its next meeting
on July 16, 2008 at the Folsom Farm site in the Fishtrap Lake Recreation Area. This recreation area
is about 30 miles southwest of Spokane, WA, near the town of Sprague (see attached map). Target
shooting safety will be the primary topic of discussion. The meeting will start at 1:00 p.m. and end
at 3:00 p.m.
Members of the public are welcome to attend RAC business meetings as observers. An opportunity
for public comment to the Council is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Depending on the number of people
wishing to comment and the amount of time available, comments may be limited in order to fulfill
the meeting objectives. The public is encouraged to submit written comments to the Council as
well.
The Eastern Washington RAC is comprised of 15 members from a variety of backgrounds who are
appointed by the Secretary of the Interior. The Eastern Washington RAC reviews overall planning
and proposed activities on federal public land in eastern Washington and provides advice to the
BLM and USDA Forest Service. For additional information about the Eastern Washington RAC or
