Salem, Ore -- Approximately 11.9 million board feet (MMBF) of timber was offered for sale at oral auction by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Salem District, on Wednesday, May 20.

BLM Sells Timber in Linn, Lincoln and
Benton Counties
Salem, Ore -- Approximately 11.9 million board feet (MMBF) of timber was offered for
sale at oral auction by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Salem District, on
Wednesday, May 20. The four timber sales offered were sold for a total of $2,322,233.
The Thin Lindsey Timber Sale (4.95 MMBF), located approximately 12 air miles west of
the town of Grand Ronde, in Lincoln County, was purchased by Boise Cascade Wood
Products, LLC for the appraised price of $292,987. There were no other bidders on the
parcel.
The Sunday Morning Timber Sale (6.8 MMBF), located 12 miles northeast of the town of
Lebanon, in Linn County, was purchased by Freres Lumber Company Inc. for the appraised
price of $2,000,931. There were no other bidders on the parcel.
The Second Chance Salvage Timber Sale (30 MBF), located approximately 20 air miles
south of the town of Philomath, in Benton County, was purchased by Parker & Sons
Logging for the sealed bid price of $6,390. There were no other bidders on the parcel.
The Got Hammered Salvage Timber Sale (108 MBF), located approximately 12 air miles
southwest of the town of Philomath, in Benton County, was purchased by Parker & Sons
Logging for the sealed bid price of $21,924. There were no other bidders on the parcel.
