BLM to Perform Slide Repair on Lane Mtn. Road
Roseburg, Ore. – The BLM will be completing slide repair work along Lane Mtn. Road (Rd # 274-14.0), eleven miles east of Roseburg from July 27 through September 3, 2015. The road work
will involve repairs to the slide area and reinforcement of areas showing risk of slide.
During active slide repair work on the road, members of the public will be able to use a by-pass
road to go around the slide repair area. There may be minor delays of up to 30 minutes during
critical stages of construction. Members of the public are asked to reduce driving speed due to
workers and equipment in the roadway. Signs indicating construction work will be posted on Lane
Mtn. Road, just off Buckhorn Road (County Road #17).
