For release: July 31, 2015 Release No: OR-100-FY2015-021 Contact: Casey Glade (541) 464-3371 Rock Creek Road Chip Seal Project Delayed Roseburg, Ore. – This information is an update to the July 24 news release, “BLM to Perform Road Maintenance on Rock Creek Road.” The Rock Creek Road chip seal project, that was scheduled to begin on August 3, 2015, is delayed until fire danger decreases. On July 29, 2015 the Douglas Forest Protective Association (DFPA) imposed Industrial Fire Precaution Level 4, prohibiting all industrial activity throughout DFPA's district. This includes the Rock Creek Road chip seal project area. An updated news release will be sent out when the new start date is identified.
