Public workshop to discuss issues and how to provide comments
October 3, 6:00 -9:00 PM
Roseburg, OR- A public workshop to encourage community
discussion on the Bureau of Land Management’s Western Oregon
Plan Revision will be held on October 3 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. The
meeting will take place in the Ford Room at the Douglas County
Library.
The meeting will be facilitated by Daylight Decisions of Portland,
Oregon. Daylight Decisions specializes in helping businesses and
communities deal with complex issues, while working
cooperatively and collaboratively toward a final decision.
Following a brief introduction by Roseburg BLM District
Manager, Jay Carlson, participants will be asked to work together
and discuss key issues and concerns. Participants will also receive
instructions on how to provide either written or web-based
comments on BLMs proposed revision of its western Oregon landuse plan.
