Contact: Nick Teague, (360) 468-3754 Environmental education (Earth Day and Energy Fair) - Roseburg, Oregon BLM co-hosts a booth at the Douglas County Fairgrounds with the Umpqua National Forest with a theme of “Take a Hike”—storytelling, touch box, games, activities, outreach, prizes, costumes, lots of fun. Wildlife biologists and techs will assist at a separate booth teaching about International Migratory Bird Day. As a day of awareness and appreciation for the diverse array of plants and animals in the San Juan Islands the Procession of the Species parade will be lots of fun and filled with festivities, music and food.
