BLM and Forest Service to Sponsor Workshop on Contracting and Doing Business with the Federal Government
Medford, Ore. – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Medford District will host speakers
from the Government Contract Assistance Program (GCAP) on July 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00
noon at the Medford Interagency office, 3040 Biddle Road.
The workshop is designed to provide the necessary tools to navigate the Federal government
procurement system to those interested in potentially providing goods or services to the BLM or
Forest Service. Topics will include bid preparation, electronic contracting, interpreting
solicitations, and how to obtain contract specifications.
The Government Contract Assistance Program—Oregon's Procurement Technical Assistance
Program—is sponsored and brought to you by the Organization for Economic Initiatives, the
Defense Logistics Agency, the Oregon Economic and Community Development Department and
the Oregon Department of Transportation.
