Deep Creek Prescribed Burn
Lakeview, Ore. – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Lakeview District Office will be
conducting prescribed burn in Deep Creek area of Lake County, March 20th between 10 a.m. - 4
p.m. The overall goal of this burn is to restore wildlife habitat and reduce the fire hazard and
intensity in the South Warner’s.
Smoke from this prescribed burn could impact travel from mile post 17 to 21 on Highway 140
between Lakeview and Adel. Oregon Department of Transportation will be controlling the safe
flow of traffic through the affected area.
