Trail Closures at Shotgun OHV Area
(Springfield, OR) Due to logging operations, Trail 7 and the northwest section of Trail 13 will be closed at
the Shotgun Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) Area beginning in early May. Several trailheads that provide
access to these trails will also be closed.
“To ensure the safety of visitors, these closures are expected to last through the fall and potentially beyond,”
said Bill O’Sullivan, Field Manager for the Upper Willamette Resource Area. “We appreciate the public’s
understanding as we provide for both recreation and timber harvest opportunities in the Shotgun OHV
Area.”
