NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE TIMBER SALE PURCHASERS
Coos Bay Sale No.: 12-35, Wagon Road Pilot;
It has come to our attention that there was an underestimate of the potential acres of machine piling
and no mop-up included in the Specifications for Machine Piling and Specifications for Hand and
Machine Pile Covering.
The changes to Section 42.e.(3) of the contract include the addition of the following stipulations:
1. Equipment used for machine piling shall be restricted to operating on slopes less than 35%.
2. The Purchaser shall begin mop-up on the day of ignition if possible and will continue mop-up
following the ignition day for a one (1) day period (10 hours).
On page 2 of the Exhibit A the legend item of “Ground Based and Machine Pile Area (22 ac.)” was
changed to “Ground-Based Area”.
The correction of this error results in no change to the appraised prices for any species; the total
estimated value; or the bid deposit required.
A revised Exhibit A is attached for your reference.
