Coos Bay Wagon Road Pilot Project

The Coos Bay Wagon Road (CBWR) pilot project is a cooperative
effort between the Coquille Indian Tribe and the Coos Bay District
of the Bureau of Land Management. The objective of the project is
to apply the ecological principles suggested by Professors Norm
Johnson and Jerry Franklin in designing a variable retention regeneration harvest in the moist forests of the Oregon Coast Range.
