Spreadsheets
• What is a spreadsheet?
– Simply a grid of rows and columns, printed on
special light-green paper, that was used to
produce financial projections & reports.
• The spreadsheet allows users to create tables and
financial schedules by entering data and formulas
into rows and columns arranged as a grid on a
display screen (Daniel Bricklin, 1978)
