CARPET INSTALLATION SLOWS BLM SERVICES TEMPORARILY
HINES, Oregon – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Burns District Office is planning for limited
services beginning next week due to a minor building renovation. Beginning Monday, February 4, the entire
facility – located at 28910 Highway 20 West – is getting new carpet. The project is expected to last through
Friday, February 8. The office will remain open from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the installation, however,
visitors can expect little availability from staff specialists throughout the period. Some personnel will be on
hand, but most will be working away from the desk and can be reached by phone by first calling the main
office and having your call transferred.
The BLM regrets any inconvenience this may cause and expects to resume full services during the week of
February 11.
