Public Outreach Summary
The Access Management Report project for North College Avenue (US 287), Jefferson Street/Riverside Avenue (SH 14)
and Mulberry Street (SH 14) included an extensive public outreach effort conducted by the City of Fort Collins, Larimer
County and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) with the assistance of Felsburg Holt & Ullevig,
Balloffet & Associates and Albertson Clark Associates.
The project team hosted many public open house events as well as attended meetings with the North College Business
Association, Northeast Business Association and the Old Town Neighborhood group. In addition, the team met with
numerous property and business owners along the project corridors in order to work one-on-one with them and to
develop mutually acceptable plans. In total, the team has spoken directly with more than 200 interested parties and have
maintained a mailing list of 750 property owners and residents.
Following is a list of the public meetings that were conducted in order to gain public feedback on the project. Meeting
notices were directly mailed to all property owners and tenants within 500' on either side of the corridors. Press releases
announcing the public open houses were sent to the Fort Collins Coloradan.
