Replacing all campus wireless access points with newer devices that improve Wi-‐Fi connection speeds and the capability to service larger number of clients within a given space. We have completed 800 of 1800 devices. External spaces designated for Wi-‐Fi upgrades through this summer are Cleary Courtyard, Juniper Courtyard, Arbor Court, Cleary Walk, Oviatt Lawn, Sierra Quad, Bookstore West, Bookstore South, Matador Square, USU (walk to SRC) The Moodle interface will be updated to a new theme that is more ADA accessible and mobile-‐responsive. Impact to Faculty The VPN provides a secure method to access campus resources from off-‐campus locations – a secure network “tunnel” to the campus. The current aging VPN solution will be replaced with a more current solution. A one-‐time program installation and setup will be required. During the Fall 2015 semester transition, both the old and new solutions will be available. The old solution will be decommissioned in May 2016. The internal space upgrade will continue through the Fall. Upgrades to additional external spaces are being planned.
