How can I tell the different methods of recording lectures
with CSU Replay
IVT Capture
If you are being recorded by IVT capture, then you will see a PolyCom microphone
and on your AMX control panel you will not see a “Recording” icon. This recording
has to be scheduled through the CSU Replay web form.
Podium Capture
If you are using the Podium Capture software then you will see a microphone like
this one on your lectern and Podium Capture software on the computer. You can
record ad hoc. Or schedule a recording via the CSU Replay web form.
Hardware Capture
If you are being recorded via a hardware capture device then you will see
“Recording” on your AMX panel. This will flash Red when recording and recordings
have to be scheduled through CSU Replay web form
CSU Staff:
For your personal CSU Replay Account please complete the CSU Replay form for
teaching. Registration will take 5 working days to process. Use this form for booking your
recordings with the devices shown above
