( pp. II-22 to II-38 ) were revised to reflect the following corrections to the
SAS programs in LR-H-218:
a.
Modifications to SAS codes to incorporate the updated
variabilities in Table 4 (see 1. above) in MOD4DIST.
b.
Modifications to SAS codes to correct for the classification
of letter/card shape relating to the information collected after
July 1, 1996 for MOD1 DIR, BMCl and NONMIOD12 which is
reflected in IOCS variable F9635.
C.
Modifications to SAS codes to shift tallies with activity code
5461 from the ‘MIXED’ data set to the ‘DIRECT data set in
MODIDIR.

Modifications to SAS codes to rename ‘1 SUP OTH’ to
‘1 SUPPORT’ for the remapped tallies in MOD1 POOL to
include them in the MODS cost pool ‘1SUPPORT’.

Table 6 of USPS-T-12 testimony was revised to reflect the updated
variabilities in Table 4 (see 1. above).

The SAS outputs for Part Ill Part V.d, Part VI, Part VII and Tables V-l, V2, and VII-1 of LR-H-146 (pp. Ill-4 to Ill-la, V-5, V-7, V-14 to V-19, VI-4 to
VI-6, VI-8 to VI-19, VII-3 to VII-7 ) were revised as a result of :
Modifications to the SAS codes in LR-H-218 listed in 2. above,
followed by modifications to the SAS codes in LR-H-218 for
NONMODEL, PIGGYF96 and PREMITOT to reflect t,he revised
variabilities (see 2.a above) and the revised ratio of Cost Pool
dollars to IOCS dollars for the MODS cost pool ‘1SUPPORT’
(see
2.d above).
Modifications to the SAS codes in LR-H-218 for MODSHAPE to
split the presort letters & parcels subclass column in the SAS
output (previously mislabeled as ‘1st pr. ncarr-rt’) into two columns,
carrier route (‘1 st pr. carr-rt’) and non-carrier route (“I st pr. ncarrN.
The revised pages are in the attachment.
