The City of Fort Collins Air Quality Advisory Board and the Larimer County Environmental and
Science Advisory Board will hold a joint informational meeting to review the draft air permit
and supporting materials issued by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
(CDPHE) for the Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. asphalt plant. The plant, located at 1800 North
Taft Hill Road, has applied for an air permit to continue asphalt production operations at their
current location. Air Resources Specialists, Inc. has been retained by the County and City to
perform a technical analysis, and will discuss their findings with the advisory boards at this
meeting. The boards will provide recommendations for comments on the draft permit to their
respective elected officials for submittal to CDPHE by Sept. 3, 2014. A link to the draft permit
