ASSEMBLY
Measureup 2" from the bottomof the back paneland makea squareline acrossthe board.
Set the two side panelsso they line up evenlywith the 2" mark and flush with the back panel.
Pre-driff and screw sidepanelslo bottompanelusing2t/." screws (threescrews per side).
Take the bottom paneland line it up with the side panelsandalong the line that you have
made. Pre-drill and screw the bottom panelto Ihe side panels using the 2 '1" screws (two
screwsper side).
Now, take the front paneland line it up with the top edge of the side panels. Makea very light
fine across the front panel "/o"downfrom the top edge. This will be the pivot point for the
front panel. Pre-drilland screw the top panelintothe side panels using a 2" screw (one on
each side).
Now center the top panelover the box. Placethe 2" x 11 1/o"piece over the top panel.
Pre-driff and screw this piece into the back panelonly. Makesure this piecefits snuglyas
this acts to hold down the top panel. Usetwo 2" screws for this. Next, put in the angle hooks
into the top and front panels. To do this, drill through the top panel and into lhe front panel
usingan Y""drill bit. Makesure that you drill squarelyinto the center of the front panel. Now,
re-driff the hole in just the top panelusingthe 3/j6"drill bit. This will allow the angle hook to
sfip throughthe top panel easily, yet hold securelyto the front panel. Repeatthis step with
the front panel. Screw in the angle hooks and tighten with pliers.
To makethe entrancehole, center a mark on the front panel16" from the bottomand drill
usinga3/o-1"paddlebit. Nowdrillthreet/.,u"holes(two atthe top and one atthe bottom)for
mountingpurposes. lt is also helpfulto makea notch in the bottompanel which helps in
openingthe front panel. Youcan use a chiseland sand paperfor this.
