Infrastructure Funding
Additional dental instruments and equipment have been
obtained with the infrastructure funding. This allows the
expansion of our service benefiting Adelle’s range of
clinical experience and efficiency of our service delivery.
The curriculum content provided Adelle with sound
clinical understanding of the contemporary practical
evidence based dental care which enables her to apply
this knowledge to real life day to day situations.
The mentor has provided Adelle with regular clinical
support and study sessions utilising the course
curriculum and webinars.
To expand Adelle’s clinical experience, she was rostered
to work in different areas of dental specialties
(orthodontic, paediatric, aged care, special needs and
oncology).
The best thing about the OHTGYP for the graduate was
the opportunity to apply past, present and future
learning to practical settings with in a safe nurturing
environment.
 Working for Queensland Health has strengthened
and enriched my growth as an Oral Health
Therapist. The clinical and community experiences
have been invaluable and I couldn’t be happier with
the opportunities I have been given.
