Child Protection Session
Date: To be completed by pre-clinical deadline date.
Instructions: You will need access to a printer and headphones if you are not in a private
location
** Please note: If you are accessing the e-learning and the screen freezes at "18% loaded" you need
to right click on the screen and select "Play" to proceed.
Child protection awareness training has been tested for full functionality with standard browsers Internet Explorer 9 and above, Firefox, Safari (Mac only). There is a known issue on Chrome with the
date not displaying on the certificate.
1. Navigate to the website: https://www.det.nsw.edu.au/proflearn/cpat/e_learn.html
2. You will see the following screen:
3. Click on link that says “Click here to begin the module”
4. You will then see the following screen. If this is the first time accessing this training,
click on “Start a new module”. If you have already started the training on a private
computer you can continue where you left off by clicking on the “Continue where I
left off” link
5. Complete the training and the assessments throughout the training. When you have
successfully completed the course you will be able to create your certificate.
6. You will then be able to print your certificate. Please upload a copy of this certificate
to the relevant area on Inplace. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the
Workplace Learning Interact site.
