Children, Youth & Family Division (CYF)
CYF works with children who are at risk of being abused or have been abused or neglected. It
also works with children who are beyond their parent's control, have delinquent behavior,
and/or have violated the law. CYF has a number of specialized programs devoted to serving the
children and families of Larimer County. The CYF mission statement is very clear and fits the
nature of the department's function. It expresses an integrated approach to child protection,
family, and juvenile justice.

The Women's Wellness Connection is a program of the Colorado Department of Public Health
and Environment and is part of the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection
Program. The program provides breast and cervical cancer screenings (mammograms, clinical
breast exams, Pap tests and pelvic exams) and diagnostic services at sites throughout Colorado,
including Salud Family Health Centers, Planned Parenthood, and Sunrise-Loveland Community
Health Center. Screenings are free to women 40-64 years of age with limited income and limited

The Larimer County Office on Aging (LCOA), in the Larimer County Department of Human
Services, is a comprehensive planning unit that advocates for the concerns of older adults and
their families. The LCOA serves the communities of Berthoud, Estes Park, Fort Collins, LaPorte,
Loveland and Wellington as well as the rural areas of Larimer County.
The Office on Aging also administers Older Americans Act grant funds by providing services to
Larimer County residents who are 60 years of age and older.
Older Americans Act funds are distributed by the Office on Aging for services in Larimer County,
