Wagga Wagga Campus - Site Specific Safety Information for Contractors
Contractor Sign-in: All Contractors must report to the Division of Facilities Management (DFM) Office to
sign-in prior to commencing works on Campus, and sign out prior to leaving the Campus. The Orange
campus DFM office is located in Building 253, and the contractor sign in book is located in the corridor.
Contractor identification: All contractors must wear in clear view their CSU Contractor ID card OR CSU
temporary identification. This ID must be present to authorised CSU Staff on request.
Restricted Areas: The Wagga Campus contains a number of restricted areas that include laboratories
(see note below), quarantine facilities, childcare facilities and other restricted areas. Prior to entry to
these areas, contractors must undertake a specific induction conducted by the Faculty or Unit Staff.
Contact a DFM representative to arrange access.
Laboratories: Specific site inductions and access requirements are in place for all laboratories including
local building sign in at the National Life Science Hub (NaLSH) complex. 24 hour notice is required for lab
access.
Campus Farm: Contractors must not enter farm areas without the authorisation of the Farm Manager. A
minimum notice of 1 week will be required prior to access being approved. Contact a DFM representative
to arrange access.
Vineyard: Contractors must not enter vineyard areas without authorisation from the Vineyard Manager.
A minimum notice of 1 week will be required prior to access being approved. Contact a DFM
representative to arrange access.
Please report all hazards, accidents or incidents to your DFM contact at the earliest opportunity
