Report On First Year MCA Orientation Programme
NIEC organized an orientation programme for the newly admitted MCA students at the institute
premises on 24th August 2015. The major objective of the programme was to make the students
aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the Institute and
ensuring their full participation in placements.
Audiences: CEO Sir, Director Sir, Assistant Director HR, Director Construction, HOD MCA,
Faculty members of MCA, Lab Technicians, students of first year MCA.
The programme was inaugurated with the Motivational speech of CEO Sir and Director Sir and
the presentation of the department.
Then Dr.(Prof) G. P. Govil (Director NIEC) informed the students about the various facilities
available in the institute for the students. He highlighted the accomplishments of the institute
faculty and assured the students that they are in safe hands! He emphasized the need for
continuous hard work and stressed that getting admission into any good Placement Company is
the starting point and main vision of their MCA degree.
While delivering a speech on the occasion, he said that it was not the events but the attitude that
caused success. He also stressed the importance of dedication to one’s profession and the need to
have proper planning before taking up and implementing any project.
After that some performance are given by the students such as Group Dance, Singing, Band
Performance. During this MCA blog was introduced by a student of MCA Final Yr.
After that a small Query session was entertained by the students and the Director Sir and other
faculty members have been actively participated to resolve the doubts of the students about their
course.
The orientation programme has come to at end with the vote of thanks by Ms. Pallavi Joshi
(HOD MCA) and distribution of light Snacks. Students are departed with a high sense of satisfy
action.
