How can I set my meeting for access by users with low Internet
connectivity?
Hosts can optimise the meeting for participants with various Internet speeds.
These options are accessed by clicking on “Meeting” in the top menu, then clicking “Preferences”.
In the “Preferences” dialogue, click on “Room Bandwidth” where Hosts can select:
•
LAN;
LAN is best for people sharing the same wired network.
If all participants are on the CSU network then this setting should be suitable.
•
DSL/Cable;
DSL/Cable is the best setting when a meeting has participants off-campus, all of whom have a
broadband connection.
•
Modem;
Modem is an ideal choice if any participants are in remote areas or without broadband Internet.
Click “Done” in the lower-right corner to commit the changes and exit the Preferences dialogue.
