Staff Profile Reports Division of Human Resources Fact Sheet What is a Staff Profile Report? A staff profile report provides point in time position and occupancy information in relation to a specific CSU functional area e.g. School, Faculty or Division. These reports were previously known as Establishment Reports. Who can access a Staff Profile Report? Heads of School, Directors, Executive Deans, Executive Directors and above, all have access to create a staff profile report from Web Kiosk whenever it is required. Should you wish your Administrative Assistant to also have access to download this report please email [email protected] and advise the position number that you are authorising be granted access. How can I access a Staff Profile Report? Refer to the Running Discoverer Reports for a detailed step by step guide with screen shots. Step 1: Go to the Web Kiosk page on the HR Website http://www.csu.edu.au/division/hr/web-kiosk. Step 2: Click on Login to Web Kiosk Discoverer Reports. Step 3: Login using your standard username and password and hit GO. The list of reports that you are able to access will now be listed. Step 4: Scroll to Staff – Position – Establishment. Click on the blue expand symbol to the left of the report description on the list. Choose either Export Establishment or Export Establishment – Salary depending on your needs. Step 5: Work through the required parameters then click GO. This screen allows you to choose the available areas for which you can produce a report. Choose the relevant area e.g. Division of Library Services and click Move. When you have completed your selection click Select. Please note: ^ indicates outdated organisational units and you should ensure that you do not select any search parameters that begin with ^. Step 6: A warning may pop up advising that the query is estimated to take 1:58 minutes. Select YES to continue. (Please note: Depending on the parameters you have selected your report may take longer than the estimated time). Step 7: Once the report has been created you can choose a method to export from the left hand Actions menu. Step 8: Choose EXPORT and then the format that you want to receive the report. How do I read a Staff Profile Report? All information related to positions is on the left hand side of the report. All information related to occupancies is on the right hand side of the report. A resource to help you read your Staff Profile Report is available from your HR Liaison Officer. What should I do if there are positions appearing on my Staff Profile Report that I no longer need?
