Stephan Busacker
Director Services Sales, Africa
Stephan is the Services Sales Director for Africa, based in Johannesburg and responsible for all service
sales and services related operations across Africa. He has a highly skilled team of Service Sales
Account Managers across Africa, who deal with customers in all sectors of the Cisco business, namely
Commercial, Enterprise, Public Sector and Service Provider.
Stephan is a 15-year veteran having joined Cisco in 2000 as Services and Support Manager for South
Africa and also assisting as Service Support Manager in Dubai and Greece. In 2003 Stephan
transitioned to a role as Service Account Manager for Africa, focusing on key accounts across Africa. In
2007, Stephan took on the roll as Services Sales Manager for South Africa and led the business until
2012. During this time Stephan was also General Manager Cisco Technology and Services, which is
Cisco South Africa’s local B-BBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) entity. In 2012
Stephan was promoted to lead the Services Sales business for the entire Africa.
Prior to joining Cisco, Stephan spent 10 years at BMW SA doing various roles in the IT department with
his last responsibility being the manager for their Enterprise Systems.
Stephan lives in Pretoria with his wife and two kids.
