Dear Members of the Commission:
It is my understanding that the USPS is approaching the Commission with its hair on
fire asking for another rate increase.
I know big boats fum slowly, but before seeking a rate increase, the USPS should
immediately enact common sense reforms that should have been enacted 20 )zears ago. For
example:

End Saturday mail delivery for residential customers.

Close rural low volume post offices in favor of contracting these services
with a local shopkeeper or village clerk. [Have you ever been to Gowen, MI
?(post office and storel, how about Fenwick, MI (post office and store), Palo, MI
(post office and store), Hubbardston (post office and store)1. There are five
rural post offices within a 1O-minute drive to Greenville, MI.
