Success Story
An Ambition Fulfilled !
Haris KP
Enrolment No. 09000143052
Haris K.P hails from a rural, educationally backward village of Perambra in Kozhikode district in Kerala State.
Thanks to the flexible NIOS sytem, Haris could fulfil his childhood ambition of pursuing Aeronautical Engineering
by taking admission in the Science Stream after dropping out of college. It was only when he was pursuing the
B.Com course after being forced to join the Commerce Stream that he came to know about the NIOS system. This further
enabled him to obtain admission for the B.Tech Course in Computer Science & Engineering in the Cochin University of
Science & Technology (CUSAT), Kerala through an entrance test.
Presently employed in a Software Company in Bangalore, Haris plans to join for MS (Aerospace Engineering) at the Brunel
University, London. Haris is also a volleyball player and was adjudged as the best player in an Intercollegiate Tournament
of CUSAT in 2009.
