Narendra Modi’s speech. While interacting with millions of students
and teachers across the nation, Shri Modi spoke about the
importance of teachers and emphasized on the the need for creating
good quality teachers in the country who could be ‘exported’ to the
world. Addressing the students, Shri Modi said that children can
contribute to nation building by maintaining cleanliness, saving
electricity and water. He remembered Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, whose
birth anniversary is celebrated as Teachers’ Day every year. The
interaction ended with a great applause from the school community
and the country at large. The speech of Shri Narendra Modi reminded
us of our duties towards the learners and towards the nation as a
whole.
