Poison Safety Tips
 Know what kind of poisons you have in and around your home.
 Lock poisons up where children cannot get into, like a
locked cabinet.
 Store your cleaning supplies and other poisons in this
locked cabinet only.
 Put poisons back in the locked cabinet as soon as you
are done using them.
 Keep household products in the same bottle they came
in. Your children may think a cleaning product is a
drink if you store it in a juice or soda bottle.
 Always keep your medicine in a locked cabinet or
drawer.
 Make sure all medicine bottles are “child proof.”
 Do not take your medicine in front of your children.
 Never call medicine candy.
