The Alzheimer’s Association Clinical Research
Symposium will feature Samuel H. Markind, MD
who will present the impact of Alzheimer’s disease on
the creative legacy of a famous American composer,
Aaron Copland.
This medical education program, ’Tis the Gift:
Aaron Copland’s Creative Genius and its
Dementia-induced Decline, looks at multiple
aspects of artistic expression among individuals with
dementia. The event will also feature an exhibit
created by persons with dementia.
Physicians, Advanced Practice RN’s, Physician’s
Assistants, students, and other professionals and
interested parties are welcome to attend this informative
event.
An application has been submitted for 1 CME credit.
