offerevengreaterexpertisethanbeforeastheycannowhandleall

TheInrushmeasurementfunctionnowcoversupto10minutesandtheFlickermeasurementnow
includesboththePstandPltvalues.ThenewversiontakesintoaccountalltheDCcomponentsand
thereformulationoftheKfactorcalculationaspertheNFEN50464‐3standard.
Withthe"quickstart‐up"function,thereisnolongeranyriskofbeingcaughtunawaresifyouneed
to start a measurement campaign immediately; this mode records the Min/Max values and assigns
namestothecampaignsautomatically.
Awidevarietyofunitsareavailableforenergymeasurements:kW,Joule,nucleartoe,non‐nuclear
toe,BTU,toe,etc.
The harmonics measurement function has undergone a major upgrade and now offers
decompositionontheneutral,calculationin%fand%randcalculationofthedistortingvoltagesand
currents. The distorting power (VAD), which is linked to the harmonics, ensures that the anti‐
harmonicfiltersarecorrectlysized.
Accessories:
The Qualistars are equipped with a new lead with an ESSAILEC connector for testing without
interrupting the power‐supply circuit on the meters and the protective relays installed in the
secondarycircuitsofcurrentorvoltagetransformers.
Software:
WithPowerAnalyserTransferorDataView®,themulti‐window,multilingualinterface,thedata
are presented in the form of graphs, histograms or tables and they can also be transferred into PC
spreadsheetsoftwareforanalysisorreportcreation.
In addition to the intuitive set‐up, online help function and automatic recognition of the sensors
connected,thewholeproductisdesignedtosavetimeandfocusonmeasurement.
