COREQUISITE COURSES
In Banner, students will be required to sign up for the corresponding lab and lecture. If the specific section of
lecture or lab a student registers for is important, you will need to follow the steps below.
1. Type SSADETL in the Go To… box.

Type in a Term and CRN unless what appears in these fields is accurate.

Perform a Next Block

Your cursor will be in the CRN field in the Corequisite block of the Section Links and Corequisites tab (tab will
be highlighted).

6. Type the CRN of the corresponding corequisite in the CRN field and tab. The Subject, Course, and Section will
appear.
a. If you aren’t certain of the CRN, click the drop-down arrow under CRN. The only CRNs that will appear
are ones that are allowed to be assigned. Highlight your choice and click OK.
7. The corequisite course will populate, showing the CRN, Subject, Course Number, and Section.
8. Click Save.
9. Repeat if there is more than one corequisite to be tied to the CRN in the Key Block then click Save.
NOTE: Make note of the CRN(s) listed in the Corequisites block you have just entered.
10. Perform a Rollback to return your cursor to the Key Block.
11. Type the CRN noted in step 8. This will be the CRN you have just entered or chosen in step 8.
12. Repeat steps 4 through 8. This will ensure you have made the lab a corequisite of the lecture and the lecture a
corequisite of the lab.
