You must click on View after selecting a different format to display the audit. Downloads a PDF version of the audit suitable for printing Selecting this button will run a new audit and apply the information that was recently refreshed. Provides a list of classes the student has taken with grades and credits semester by semester. Format Types Each audit consists of a series of blocks from general to more specific requirements. Symbols: Green check marks: requirement is satisfied Blue waves: requirement is in progress Double blue waves: coursework is complete, but a special condition is has not been met Red check boxes: requirement has not been satisfied @: wildcard (For example: ENGL 3@ means any 3000-level English courses) *: prerequisite exists for the course Student View The student view is the default worksheet format. It provides general information about the student’s complete and incomplete requirements grouped into blocks. Registration Checklist The Registration Checklist only shows unfulfilled requirements from the Student view, courses the student still need to graduate. Blocks Each section on the worksheet is called a block. The types and number of blocks can vary from student to student depending on their program. Different types of blocks: degree student attribute core curriculum general education major minor concentration excess electives insufficient in progress Each block header will contain a title for the block. The degree block header contains catalog year, credits required, and credits applied. Optional blocks: excess electives: courses that do not fulfill other program requirements insufficient: typically courses for which the student has not earned a passing grade or withdrawn courses in progress: student’s current registration These blocks will show inly if the student has courses that fall into these categories. Course Look Up within the Audit A course look up option is available to all users from the audit. Courses that are still needed show in a yellow color and the subject code and course number are highlighted in purple. Clicking on the course will open a separate window with more detailed information including description, prerequisites and corequisites, and sections offered for the upcoming term. Legend The legend is located on the bottom of each worksheets and contains all the unique symbols essential for interpreting the audits. Along with the symbols at the beginning of the rows, Degree Works uses different colors to code complete/incomplete/in-progress requirements.
