Grade Corrections Instructions for Grade Corrections The Grade Correction system is used when a grade was entered in the system incorrectly or when no grade was entered by the grade-entry deadline. The system is also used to change an Incomplete grade to a final grade. Note: For grade corrections prior to Fall 2013, e-mail Enrolled Student Services ([email protected]). Include the student’s CID number, term the course was taken, course number and section, and both incorrect and correct grades. To access the Grade Correction system, in iROAR select Faculty Services. Select Grade Correction. Choose Grade Correction from the drop-down menu. Enter as much of the requested information as possible: student’s CID number, course (subject code/course number/section number), course reference number (CRN), and term in which the wrong grade was entered (required). Searching by term retrieves all courses for which you were the instructor of record for the term selected. Choose the appropriate course from the list. Select the student whose grade is to be corrected. Once you have selected the student whose grade is to be changed, select the correct grade and indicate a reason for the grade correction (optional). Submit. Note: If the student is a candidate for graduation in the current term, Candidate will appear after the student’s name. A confirmation indicates that the grade correction has been routed for processing. (You may check the status of the correction in Faculty Services > Grade Correction > Grade Correction Status. See instructions below.) Incomplete grade corrections are submitted directly to Enrolled Student Services for processing. Letter grade and NG grade corrections are routed to the department chair, via e-mail, for approval or denial.
