RESEARCH INTERESTS
Elucidating the anti-carcinogenic and chemopreventive potential of natural products such as
spices (both extracts and purified components), traditional medicinal herbs, wild edible fruits and
vegetables in various human cancer cell lines and in vivo murine tumor models and exploring
various signaling pathways to decipher the probable biochemical and molecular mode of action
of these phytochemicals. In future interested to complement and substantiate these laboratory
findings by working with clinical serum and tissue samples.
