Comments & Recognitions Received Our group has developed a new philosophical approach called "Middle-out Rationalist Approach (MORA)" in the area of Systems Biology. The works aimed at an analytical method for translating systems based therapeutic rationale in cancer that are more suited for the clinically feasible under the socio-economic structure of the developing countries. In this direction, we have published a considerable number of research papers. These make an interest to the scientific community as evident from the receiving innumerable number of reprints requests from the international scientific community. A review work described in detail have secured 1 st position among the published paper in the area of Systems Biology in the year 2011 according to BioMedLib. Cited in the 1st line of 'Introduction' as excerpt in the paper by Gomez-Cabrero et al, 2014, Systems Medicine: from molecular features and models to clinic in COPD, Journal of Translational Medicine, 12(Suppl 2): S4 [a paper published by 19 authors from 17 institutes from 6 different countries. Philosophically this work is in contrast to the practices in western science, hence has no influence and not an extrapolated version of work of any other laboratory. To the best of my knowledge this is the first published work on Systems Medicine from India. This research work has been highlighted by Nature INDIA on its issue published on January 28, 2008. web reference: http://www.nature.com/nindia/2008/080128/full/nindia.2008.106.html This work has also been reported in National dailies ‘The Telegraph’ on its issue of Monday, May 19, 2008 web reference: http://www.telegraphindia.com/1080519/jsp/knowhow/story_9287452.jsp work cited by Muhammad H Zaman in his article “The role of engineering approaches in analysing cancer invasion and metastasis” published in Nature reviews.
