Grauated in philosophy from Jadavpur University in the year 1998.
Postgraduated in philosophy from Jadavpur University in the year 2000.
Received M.Phil Degree in philosophy from Jadavpur University in the year 2003.
Received Doctoral Research in Philosophy from Jadavpur University in 2008.
Work Experience
Worked in FIP against substantive post in Jogomaya Devi Girls’ College from November 2008
till March 2009.
Presently working in substantive post in West Bengal State University.
Fellowships/Achievements
Have been awarded the Junior Research Fellowship by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research,
New Delhi in September 2004.
Have been selected as Research Fellow at the Centre for Cognitive Science, Jadavpur University under
the scheme of Potential for Excellence in September 2006.
Research Experience
Worked as a Project Fellow in the project titled “The Holistic Approach to Belief Revision” at the Centre
for Cognitive Science under the scheme of Potential for Excellence. Project Coordinators: Dr Soumitra
Basu and Dr Sadhan Chakroborty.
Worked as Research Fellow at the Centre for Cognitive Science, Jadavpur University under the scheme of
Potential for Excellence in September 2006.Coordinator: Professor Amita Chatterjee.
Doing post-doctoral research in a project titled Empathy: Different Perspectives, funded by Indian
Council of Philosophical Research, Ministry of Human Resource and Development, New Delhi.
